Where to Eat on Pattaya Beach – Cadillac Café, Shaloba by the Sea, Cafe La Plage & The Collective

Pattaya Beach stretches for about 3 km, running from the Dusit Thani Hotel in North Pattaya all the way past Walking Street to the Bali Hai Pier. It’s one of the busiest parts of the city, with businesses competing for the attention of people relaxing on the sand. Along the way, you’ll find plenty of spots to eat and drink, and in this post we’ll share some of the ones we think are worth checking out. This isn’t an exhaustive list — we haven’t tried every place yet — so we’ll keep updating it as we discover more.

The Collective Pattaya – Courtyard Dining, Coffee & Drinks by Holiday Inn

The Collective is a vibrant courtyard venue located right in front of the Holiday Inn Pattaya. This unique space features several eateries and bars around its perimeter, making it perfect for a casual coffee, a sweet treat, or a full meal.

Food lovers can enjoy perfectly cooked meats at the BBQ and Smokehouse or indulge in authentic pizzas at the on-site Pizzeria. Comfortable seating is available throughout the courtyard, with plenty of shade, and there’s also an air-conditioned indoor area for cooler dining.

Even if you’re not hungry, The Collective offers excellent coffee and a full bar serving refreshing alcoholic drinks. On sunny Pattaya days, it’s a fantastic spot to unwind, meet friends, or simply soak up the lively atmosphere.

Location: In front of the Holiday Inn Pattaya, easily accessible from Pattaya Beach and the city center.

Hidden Rooftop Oasis: Shaloba by the Sea

Shaloba by the Sea is a rooftop retreat tucked above the busy energy of Beach Road, offering a peaceful oasis with views that make you forget the city below. From the street, you’d never guess the beauty that awaits—you have to know it’s there to find it. The space combines a relaxed, stylish vibe with the gentle sea breeze, making it a perfect spot for a sunset drink or a leisurely evening.

The panoramic views of Pattaya Bay are truly stunning. On sunny days, the sea glistens, dotted with people enjoying the beach and boats drifting across the bay. Further out, you might spot thrill-seekers parasailing behind speedboats. It’s a view that never fails to captivate.

A huge outside balcony with a fabric canopy offers shade from the sun, while the bar area features a beautiful arch design that frames amazing photos for photographers. Inside, the more traditional restaurant setting provides spacious, comfortable tables and chairs for a relaxed meal.

The menu includes a mix of Thai and international dishes. I particularly enjoyed the Quattro Formaggi pizza—it was surprisingly large, even for a pizza lover like myself. The coffees and pastries offer plenty of variety if you just want a light snack while escaping the bustle below. Prices are slightly higher than some other spots, but the setting, service, and views make it well worth it.

Café La Plage – A Beachfront Dining Escape on Pattaya Beach

If you’re looking for a spot to enjoy the sand, sea, and a relaxing meal, Café La Plage is a standout choice on Central Pattaya Beach. Located right along Beach Road, this beachfront café offers the perfect combination of stunning views, casual elegance, and a menu that caters to both local and international tastes. Its rooftop terrace provides elevated views of the bay, making it an ideal place to watch the sun dip below the horizon while sipping a refreshing drink.

The ambiance at Café La Plage is one of relaxed sophistication. Whether you’re seated inside or on the terrace, you can enjoy the gentle sea breeze and the soft sounds of waves lapping the shore. The décor is bright and contemporary, creating a welcoming space for couples, friends, or solo visitors looking to unwind. Its prime location right on Pattaya Beach makes it one of the few venues where you can truly feel connected to the ocean while dining.

The menu at Café La Plage is a thoughtful mix of Thai favorites and Western cuisine, ensuring there’s something for every palate. From fresh seafood dishes and flavorful Thai curries to burgers, pasta, and salads, the options are diverse and satisfying. For breakfast or a light snack, the café also offers a variety of coffee drinks, pastries, and smoothies, making it a great stop any time of day. Portions are generous, and the presentation is consistently appealing, making it as much a visual treat as a culinary one.

Service here is attentive without being intrusive, adding to the overall relaxed experience. Prices are moderate for a beachfront location, providing good value given the quality, location, and views. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely lunch, a romantic dinner, or simply a coffee break with a view, Café La Plage is a destination worth adding to your Pattaya Beach itinerary.

Cadillac Café & Bar – Classic American Vibes on Pattaya Beach

One of the most eye-catching restaurants on Pattaya Beach Road is the Cadillac Café & Bar, located inside the boutique Wave Hotel. You can’t miss it — the huge pink Cadillac parked outside has become a landmark in its own right, and a favourite photo stop for visitors exploring the beachfront.

Inside, the design channels Miami’s Art Deco glamour with neon accents, pastel tones, and retro flair. Guests can choose from elegant indoor dining, breezy poolside seating, or an outdoor terrace that looks directly onto Beach Road and Pattaya Beach. Whether you’re stopping by for a lazy brunch or a sunset cocktail, the setting is as memorable as the food.

The menu is just as impressive, mixing hearty Western favourites with local flavours. American classics like burgers, ribs, steaks, and milkshakes sit alongside seafood dishes, fresh salads, pasta, and Thai specialities. Mexican-style plates like nachos and quesadillas add a fun twist. The bar serves up cocktails, wines, and beers, while live music on selected nights makes it a lively evening spot.

Cadillac Café & Bar isn’t the cheapest restaurant in Pattaya, but it delivers on atmosphere, flavour, and style. Between the prime Beach Road location, glamorous décor, and that iconic pink Cadillac, it’s one of the most distinctive and memorable places to eat and drink on Pattaya Beach.

Location: Cadillac Café & Bar is part of the Wave Hotel, 310/2 Beach Road, North Pattaya, directly opposite Pattaya Beach.

Pattaya Beach is more than just a place to swim, sunbathe, and enjoy the nightlife — it’s also home to some of the city’s most memorable dining spots. Whether it’s the retro glamour of the Cadillac Café & Bar, the laid-back coastal charm of Shaloba by the Sea, the chic elegance of Café La Plage, or the creative vibe of The Collective, each brings something unique to the beachfront.

From poolside cocktails and sunset views to gourmet dining and casual bites, these four restaurants showcase the best of what Pattaya Beach has to offer. If you’re planning where to eat in Pattaya, make sure these spots are on your list — they combine great food with unbeatable locations right on the sand.
