When it comes to things to do in Pattaya, one experience stands out above the rest – oceanfront dining at 3 Mermaids Pattaya. Situated along the picturesque coastline, this enchanting destination offers travellers, foodies, and Instagrammers an unforgettable dining experience, blending stunning seaside views, delectable cuisine, and dreamy décor.  This was the first place I came to for Brunch in Pattaya, and it really blew me away. I can’t imagine anyone coming here and not thinking it was beautiful, and its neighbours the Chocolate Factory , The Sky Gallery and The Oxygen give you similar choices. But for me the 3 Mermaids was first and the view when I first walked in will always be etched in my mind.

A Dining Experience Like No Other

I am a regular visitor to the 3 Mermaids, as I mentioned it was the first place I visited when I came to Pattaya and it really sets the bar high.  The view gets a lot of the mentions on social media, and rightly so, but it is a view shared now by many competitors and the 3 Mermaids know that they have to match the view with the cuisine and the service. If you go during the day you probably won’t need a reservation there is a lot of seating. In the late afternoon it can get really busy as a lot of people flock here because the sunset views are absolutely incredible. Pattaya is blessed with phenomenal sunsets and all along the cliffside in Phra Tamnak you get clear views with zero obstructions. You have Koh Larn and the ocean to look out upon and the sky is a myriad of colours as the sun sets.

The 3 Mermaids also has birds nest tables that are raised above the restaurant, these contain one table per nest so offer a certain exclusivity and privacy, perfect for romantic meals or family gatherings. They are less in number than the regular tables so its probably wise to make a reservation if you want one of these, when i’ve visited during daytime hours they have always been available, but the evenings are a different story.

Flavourful Culinary Offerings

As with any restaurant the food and drink do make or break the visit regardless of the spectacular views.  The competition is strong in Phra Tamnak, the Chocolate Factory, Sky Gallery and others also offer the same spectacular views and unique selling points.

So what is the food at the 3 Mermaids like ? I have been here over 20 times now for anything from a Brunch to an evening meal and have never been disappointed. The staff will seat you quickly and take your order promptly.

The Menu offers a solid range of both Western and Thai food. I have always opted for Thai dishes, chicken yellow curry, pad thai or my personal favorite the simple but lovely Pad Krapow. There are some excellent seafood choices too. If you prefer something more western they serve burgers, steaks and pizzas as well as a lot of pasta dishes.

The drinks menu is also excellent there is a good selection of wines, beers and spirits. But aside from the alcoholic drinks there are fresh juices, smoothies, shakes and a lot of coffees on offer.

Whether you’re visiting for a casual lunch or planning a celebratory dinner, the dishes and drinks are sure to elevate your taste buds while the sea creates the perfect backdrop.

The prices are good too, I have always had change from 1000 Baht when I order main, a side a dessert and one or two drinks.
